Which is funny because Mitch Albom was already dead to me, so he must have risen from his grave--perhaps before he said hello to the other fucking assholes he met in heaven--in order for me to kill him again.
Barrelhouse is a literary journal that bridges the gap between high and low culture. This is the blog firmly planted in the low side of things: random thoughts from our editors and friends on music, movies, television, bubblegum cards, Mr. T, the importance of the movie Roadhouse and whatever else we argue about after we've had too many Brooklyn Browns.

Mitch Albom is a plague on humanity. There is nothing funny about him. His face alone killed journalism 20 years ago. Never mind fiction.
These men are SO not fantastic.
They're dead to me.

I can't think of anyone who's more smug about his own mediocrity than Mitch Albom.
